1. Services Provided

CocoWash provides on-demand pickup and delivery auto concierge services, including but not limited to:

• Car washing and detailing
• Oil changes
• Tire rotation
• State inspections
• Engine cleaning
• Interior detailing
• Other automotive maintenance services as specified in the app

2. User Accounts

2.1 Account Creation

To use CocoWash services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your account information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

2.2 Account Types

Customer Accounts: For individuals requesting services

Driver Accounts: For independent contractors providing services

3. Service Booking and Payment

3.1 Booking Process

When you book a service through CocoWash:

• You enter into a contract with CocoWash for the selected services
• Services are subject to availability
• Prices displayed include all applicable fees unless otherwise stated
• You authorize payment through your selected payment method

3.2 Payment Terms

• Payment Authorization: By booking, you authorize CocoWash to charge your payment method
• Accepted Payment Methods: Credit cards, debit cards, and other methods displayed in the app
• Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Receipts: Electronic receipts are provided via email

3.3 Pricing

• Service prices vary by location and service type
• Prices are displayed before you confirm your booking
• Prices may change based on demand, time, and location
• Any additional services requested may incur extra charges

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellation by Customer

• Free Cancellation: Cancel up to 2 hours before scheduled pickup time for full refund
• Late Cancellation: Cancellations within 2 hours of pickup incur a 50% cancellation fee
• No-Show: If you're unavailable at pickup time without prior cancellation, you will be charged the full service fee

4.2 Cancellation by CocoWash

CocoWash may cancel your service if:

• No driver is available in your area
• Weather or safety conditions prevent service
• Your vehicle is in a condition that cannot be safely serviced
• Any violation of these Terms occurs

If CocoWash cancels, you will receive a full refund within 5-7 business days.

4.3 Refund Policy

• Service Not Completed: Full refund if service cannot be completed
• Service Quality Issues: Partial or full refund at CocoWash's discretion after review
• Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
• Refund Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method

4.4 Disputes

If you're unsatisfied with a service:

• Provide photos and description of the issue
• We will review and respond within 3 business days

5. Vehicle Access and Responsibility

5.1 Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide safe and legal access to your vehicle
• Remove all valuables and personal items before pickup
• Ensure your vehicle is in safe operating condition
• Provide accurate vehicle information (make, model, color, license plate)
• Ensure you have valid insurance coverage for your vehicle

5.2 Prohibited Items

You must not leave the following in your vehicle:

• Weapons or illegal substances
• Large amounts of cash or jewelry
• Hazardous materials
• Pets or animals
• Perishable items

6. Insurance and Liability

6.1 CocoWash Insurance

CocoWash carries insurance coverage for:

• Vehicle damage that occurs during service
• Accidents during vehicle transport
• Coverage details available upon request

6.2 Limitation of Liability

CocoWash is not liable for:

• Pre-existing vehicle damage
• Items left in the vehicle
• Damage from vehicle defects or mechanical failures
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

6.3 Damage Claims

To file a damage claim:

• Report damage within 24 hours of vehicle return
• Provide photos of damage
• Complete a claim form provided by CocoWash
• Claims are reviewed within 5 business days

7. Driver Terms

7.1 Independent Contractors

CocoWash drivers are independent contractors, not employees. Drivers:

• Set their own schedules
• Use their own vehicles
• Are responsible for their own taxes
• Must maintain valid driver's license and insurance

7.2 Background Checks

All drivers undergo:

• Background verification
• Driving record review
• Vehicle insurance verification
• Driver's license validation

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Use the service for illegal purposes
• Harass, abuse, or harm drivers or other users
• Provide false information
• Interfere with the operation of the platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
• Use the service if you're under 18

9. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property related to CocoWash are owned by CocoWash or its licensors. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our content
• Use our trademarks without permission
• Reverse engineer our software

10. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Modifications to Terms

CocoWash reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via:

• Email notification
• In-app notification
• Updated "Last Modified" date on this page

Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.

12. Termination

12.1 By User

You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting [email protected].

12.2 By CocoWash

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse drivers or staff
• Fail to pay for services

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Montgomery County, Maryland.
